Strong Academics: We offer a rigorous and structured academic program that challenges boys and prepares them for high school, college, and life. In addition to six core subjects, our students receive instruction in art, music, and public speaking, as well as athletic and activity offerings.
Small, Supportive Nature of the Academy Community: Small classes, a lot of personal attention, and other kinds of support are possible because of the School’s intimate size and family-like environment. With an enrollment of approximately 75 students and a student-to-faculty ratio of 6:1, each teacher is able to provide personal attention to each student they teach. Classes at the Academy contain no more than 13 students. Students benefit from teachers and staff who know them personally and are committed to their academic progress and personal growth
Eleven Month School Year and Extended Day: Attending school from 7:30AM-5:00PM each school day keeps students engaged and focused. Each June, students attend a fourteen-day overnight camp in Blue Ridge Summit, PA. Students swim, hike the Appalachian Trail, and participate in academic, team-building and leadership activities. In July, all students attend a four-week summer academic term specifically designed to address the academic needs of the returning

students, as well as provide enrichment through field trips and group projects.
All-boys Environment: Boys thrive academically and personally with us because there are fewer disciplinary and other distractions.
Access to Cultural, Arts and Extracurricular Activities and Experiences: Just minutes away from many of the city’s finest arts and cultural organizations, we expose students to these organizations. Summer camp, team sports, and other opportunities encourage students to explore and develop their interests and passions.
Jesuit Catholic Tradition: Students benefit from the Jesuit Catholic tradition which places an emphasis on developing students’ values, character and spirituality. The Academy's program is designed to promote the development of the whole child -- academically, spiritually, and physically -- through the application of the Jesuit educational philosophy of cura personalis -- care for the whole person.
