St. Ignatius Loyola Academy is now accepting applications for the 5th grade for the
2020-2021 school year. 

The student admissions process consists of four steps:  1) Parents and guardians attending an optional open house  2) Applying for admission  3) Your child attending JumpStart, a multi-week Saturday program and  4) Admissions decision announcements

Attend an Open House

Attending an Open House provides the opportunity for you and your child to see the school facility, meet current students and teachers, and learn about the Academy's programs. You do not need to RSVP to attend an Open House.

Applications are due no later than Friday, February 21, 2020

A completed Admissions Applications Form (the parts of the application that you complete in writing) is due on the date above.

Use one of the following two admissions applications:

The following forms and documents are required as part of the admissions process and should be submitted along with your completed Admissions Application by the Application due date above unless noted.

  • Completed Financial Aid and Income Eligibility Form

  • Copy of parent/guardian’s 2018 Federal Income Tax Form 1040

  • Copy of parent/guardian’s 2019 Federal Income Tax Form 1040 (due April 15, 2020)

  • Copy of student’s birth certificate

  • Copy of student’s immunization record

  • Copy of legal guardianship documents or custody agreements (if applicable)

Additional Forms & Documents

Supporting Forms should be submitted by the published Admissions Application due date. Supplemental information, such as teacher recommendations, report cards, etc., should be submitted by the Admissions Application due date unless noted on the Admissions Checklist. The Student Record Release and Teacher Recommendation Forms are mandatory. The Director of Admissions will contact you about any missing application materials.

Admissions Testing & JumpStart Program

Admissions testing is used as an academic placement tool for the JumpStart Program. All student candidates must attend the JumpStart Program every Saturday for five weeks, during which they take a language arts and a math class in addition to playing games and participating in activities. The JumpStart Program helps Academy faculty assess each student's needs, and provides prospective students and parents an opportunity to experience the Academy's educational structure and expectations. 

The JumpStart Program takes place every Saturday from February 29 - April 4 from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Saint Ignatius Loyola Academy. Note: there will be no JumpStart program on Saturday, March 21, 2020.
