Students enter the Academy with skill levels anywhere from on grade level to one to two years below grade level. The Academy's rigorous academic program provides a solid foundation for our students to succeed in challenging college preparatory high schools and graduate ready for college.
In small classes of no more than 15, our students study:
- Latin (7th and 8th grade)
- Math (through Algebra I)
- Religion (nondenominational)
- Social Studies
- Technology and Writing
Enrichment Classes & Activities
We broaden the educational program with classes that help students develop their talents in art and music; skills class that teaches essential competencies like strong note-taking and study skills as well as life skills like public speaking and problem solving. More information about our activities is available at Our Boys' Journey.
By the time they graduate, Academy students have developed a competency using technology in their educational pursuits. 5th and 6th grade students use iPads and Chromebooks regularly in the classroom, and 7th and 8th grade students are assigned a Chromebook which they sign out daily and use in every class.
