As St. Ignatius Loyola Academy enters its fourth decade of service to boys and young men in Baltimore, we have come together — guided by the Holy Spirit and inspired by the charism, mission, vision, and values of the Society of Jesus — to discern a clear vision for our future.

Our planning process was grounded in the Academy’s history and our enduring commitment to provide the best possible experience for our students, families, faculty and staff, alumni, and friends. In keeping with our Jesuit mission, we strive for the “fullest possible development of every dimension of the person,” always linked to values, service to others, and a commitment to justice.

Over the past ten months, nearly 400 students, families, trustees, faculty, staff, alumni, and community partners participated in focus groups, surveys, and a day-long strategic retreat. Their voices shaped this plan, which reflects both the Academy’s strengths and the hopes and aspirations of our community. Leading the Way is a testament to their passion and love for the Academy and will guide us as we build on our strong foundation for the future.
